Who we are
bitcoinethxrp.com is an independent crypto education site founded by Bernard Mudafort in 2021. We write plain-English, numbers-backed guides about Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and decentralized finance — aimed at people who want to earn safely on their crypto without needing a computer science degree.
We do not sell tokens. We do not run a fund. We do not accept payment to include platforms in our “best of” rankings. Where we earn a commission, we say so in the same paragraph.

How we research and write
Every guide on bitcoinethxrp.com follows the same five-step process:
- Primary sources. We pull data directly from protocol interfaces (Aave, Compound, Lido, etc.), DefiLlama, and the Etherscan/Arbiscan contracts — not secondhand from other blogs.
- Firsthand testing. Where feasible, the author uses small live positions on each platform before writing about it. We disclose when a walkthrough is based on testnet or documentation only.
- Independent review. Every factual claim has a verifiable source. Where we cite APYs, we note the exact platform, date, and asset pair.
- Scheduled updates. Every guide has a “Last updated” date at the top. Competitive listicles (e.g. “Best DeFi Lending Platforms”) are refreshed at least quarterly.
- Reader corrections. If you find an error, email bernard.mudafort@gmail.com. We publish corrections and a change log on long-running guides.
Disclosures
- Affiliate links. Some links to exchanges, wallets, and tax tools pay us a commission if you sign up. We only promote products we’ve personally used or that pass our vetting process. Affiliate relationships never affect ranking in comparison articles — we disclose in the first 150 words of any page that contains them.
- Holdings. The author holds long-term positions in BTC, ETH, and XRP, plus occasional short-to-mid-term DeFi positions for testing. Full holdings are not disclosed; specific positions are disclosed when writing about that asset or protocol.
- Not financial advice. Everything on this site is educational. Crypto involves real risk of loss. Do your own research, and if you’re making large decisions, talk to a licensed financial or tax professional in your jurisdiction.
Editorial policy
We will not:
- Recommend an unaudited protocol.
- Recommend a protocol run by an anonymous team unless the risk is explicitly called out.
- Include a platform in a “best of” ranking because it pays us.
- Publish AI-generated content without human editing and subject-matter review.
We will:
- Update articles when underlying protocol mechanics or rates change materially.
- Publish a public change log on pillar articles.
- Correct errors transparently.
- Disclose any conflict of interest in the first screenful of the affected page.
